A Driver is a person who is employed to drive a vehicle provided by the organization to convey persons or materials from location to another, within or outside the state. A Driver is required to possess the ability to drive long hours, where necessary, performs basic maintenance check on the vehicle assign to him / her. As a Driver, you are also required to possess safety and health regulations yourself and others on the road.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transport person(s) and or materials from one location to the other. This could be within or an interstate movement.
• Possess the ability to understand all the areas in a vehicle to perform basic maintenance checks.
• Timely delivery of services – driving from locations to another.
• Understand the routes of locations of deployments (North-Central, North-West, South-West etc.) and understand how to use maps for easy navigation.
• Good record keeping, especially the vehicle maintenance and mileage data; also be able to manage and maintain organized travel schedules properly.
• Be always professional while with staff, clients and other stakeholders.
• Be ready to work at night or at the weekend, when applicable.

Qualifications / Requirements / Skills

• Possess a minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate.
• Proven driving experience with minimum of 5 years.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Maintain verifiable clean driving records.
• Good use of GPS devices will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of road networks within the state and states.
• Possess the ability to maintain good can calm posture when under pressure.
